Accessibility

What we have done

The site has been built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:

• every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the main content;
• text and controls meet the required colour-contrast ratios, and meaning is never carried by colour alone;
• headings, landmarks and lists are used so screen readers can move around each page;
• meaningful images have descriptive alternative text and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology;
• forms have visible labels, and error messages are written in plain language and linked to the field they describe;
• text can be resized and pages reflow at narrow widths and at 200% zoom;
• the animated logo is short, silent, does not loop and is replaced by a still image when your device asks for reduced motion;
• no content requires animation, hover or JavaScript to be understood.

How this was checked

The site was tested during development with automated accessibility tools (axe-core) and manual checks: keyboard-only navigation, reduced-motion mode, browser zoom, narrow-screen reflow and a review of headings, labels and alternative text. It has not been audited by an independent accessibility specialist and this statement is not a certification.

Known limitations

• The animated logo comes from a small source video and can look soft at very large sizes. A sharp still image replaces it when the animation ends.
• The support payment pages and the contact form are shown in a preview state until the payment and message services are switched on. In that state the buttons explain that nothing has been sent or paid.
• Payment pages provided by Stripe are on Stripe's website and are covered by Stripe's own accessibility work.
