A market can be more than somewhere to buy and sell. It can give local people a reason to meet, take part, share skills and ideas, support small local activity and become more connected to what is happening around them.

One of Amber Heart's longer-term ideas is to create progression rather than isolated activities.
Someone might learn something in a workshop, practise it, build confidence, gain experience through participation or volunteering and discover a route towards employment, self-employment or personal development.
That path will be different for every person. It is an opportunity, not a guarantee.
